What’s On At The Shoulder of Mutton Holcombe?
The Shoulder of Mutton is a family friendly country pub on the edge of the Pennines. Great views over Manchester & the Peak District to the South & the West Pennines to the North. Peel Tower is above us on Holcombe Hill with great views on clear days!
We can not always rely on the weather to be good so we try to run a variety of events at the pub throughout the year to give us something to do during the occasional rainy afternoon.
Some of the events revolve around things going on in Ramsbottom, like the Rotary Giant Duck race or The Rake Hill Climb, organised by the Lancashire Cycle Club. Our quiz team also competes in the local league. Whilst others are slightly more casual, like our High Altitude Onion Growing World Championship, although you would not believe it sometimes!
Evening entertainments are always popular & we have a wide variety of bands & musicians that play at the pub.
